Telehealth Counseling:
Using a secure telehealth platform allows me to connect with you from the comfort and privacy of your own home or office. This flexible option is ideal for adults and teens with a busy schedule, transportation challenges, or those living out of my Richmond, MI service area. Telehealth offers the same high-quality counseling services you would receive in person. This option allows me to work with clients all over the state of Michigan.
In-Office Counseling:
For those who prefer face-to-face sessions, I offer in-office counseling in a welcoming, confidential, and comfortable space at my Richmond, MI office location.
Standard Rates:
60 Minute Session: $95.00
45 Minute Session: $75.00
Please note MOST counseling services are private pay/fee for service meaning I do not bill most insurances; however:
I can accept most Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plans and Blue Care Network through a partnership with New Horizons Counseling Center. Please contact me for details.
Substance Use Evaluations/Mental Health Assessments: $165.00
I offer general mental health and substance use evaluations for courts and attorneys. This includes a detailed report with any applicable diagnosis and recommendations. *Note these are not the substance abuse evaluations required for MI SOS Administrative Hearings (driver license hearings).
Assessments DO NOT include any time in court or other testimony. As outlined in the informed consent document, if I am subpoenaed to testify in court or disposition proceedings, this will be billed at a rate of $200.00 per hour, with a minimum of three (3) hours billed, per occurrence.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
● You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
● Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
● If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
● Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
